IVert si dedica alla pubblicazione di guide sugli sport di montagna: arrampicata sportiva . alpinismo, sci fuoripista  e freeriding,  mountain bike .

Alcune guide sono divenute pubblicazioni culto tra gli appassionati, come Polvere Rosa, che presto vedrà in uscita Polvere Quattro, dedicata allo sci fuoripista e freeriding attorno al Monte Rosa, la prima guida del genere in Italia uscita nel 1997, la guida all’arrampicata sulle falesie di Finale Ligure Finale 51 e Oltrefinale, due best seller tra le guide dedicate ai climber in Italia.

Idee  Verticali è stata creata nel 1992 da Andrea Gallo, uno dei pionieri  dell’arrampicata sportiva, divenuto in seguito un fotografo e videomaker di livello internazionale. Andrea continua aa arrampicare, sciare, fotografare e filmare gli sport di montagna ed a scrivere guide che sono divenute un cult tra sciatori ed arrampicatori.

Idee Verticali is dedicated to the publication of guides on mountain sports: rock climbing, alpinism,  off-piste skiing, freeride and skialp,  mountain biking. Some guides have become  cult publications among fans, like Polvere Rosa, dedicated to off-piste skiing, skialp and freeriding around Monte Rosa, and the climbing guidebook of the cliffs of Finale Ligure with its newest Finale 51; together with  Oltrefinale, these are the best seller of climbing guides in Italy.
